- Taiwan (TSMC), Taiwan Semiconductor Manuyfacturing Company account for 50% of the world's semiconductor production. They produce for Apple, AMD, Nvidia, Qualcomm, and many more. This is known as the foundry model for electronics manufacturing.
- South Korea (Samsung) both IMD(Integrated Devices Manufacturer, i.e. for themselve) and foundry. SK has 70+ fabrication plants, accounting for 15% world production.
- Japan
